rock the boat!

Ahoi! Ja, heute bin ich ganz maritim gestimmt ( ..gibts das überhaupt? Egal, haha! ), beim Durchschauen meiner Bilder ist mir aufgefallen, dass ich euch noch gar nicht übers Kanu fahren berichtet habe. Herrlich wars, mein Babe & ich haben uns ein Böötchen ( schaut merkwürdig aus, mit Doppel-'Ö', schreibt man das so? ) gemietet und sind durch die vielen kleinen Seitenkanäle der Alster gepaddelt. Länger als 3 Stunden hält man jedoch kaum durch, danach waren wir fix und fertig. Aber lustig wars und super braun geworden bin ich auch, ohnehin habe ich diesen Sommer eine Bräune wie seit Jahren nicht mehr. Ganz ohne Urlaub ;) Danach noch ein Eis und fertig war der perfekte Sommertag!...Oh, und in letzter Zeit habe ich mich etwas mit LowCarb beschäftigt, nachdem die liebe Jasmin mich mit ihrem tollen Blog total inspiriert hat. Schaut doch einmal bei ihr vorbei, sie hat wirklich super viele Rezeptideen, mit denen sich beinahe alles in eine LowCarb Variante umwandeln lässt. Ob ich das wirklich durchziehe? Ich denke eher nicht, es ist mir doch zu aufwendig und ich lieeeebe so viele Gerichte, welche ich mir auf LowCarb Basis nur schwer bis gar nicht nachkochen könnte. Aber spannend ist das Thema allemal. Einige Rezepte habe ich nun auch schon selbst probiert, wie bspw. die Sellerie-Chips ( das Resultat seht ihr unten! ), welche nach einigem Hin und Her wirklich gut gelungen sind...yummii!

Ahoy! Today I am in a quite maritime mood ( ...does that even exist? Haha ), after going through some pictures I noticed that I haven't shown you my shots from when we rented a canoe the other day. After three hours of paddling we were totally exhausted and with some ice cream afterwards it was the perfect day :) And besides that, I got some tan going on, which is the first time in years my skin is showing at least a little colour ;) ...Oh and I have been reading a lot about low-carb diets lately, after lovely Jasmin inspired me with her amazing blog. Have a look at it sometime, she has great recipes and ideas for low-carb and healthy dishes in store! Do I really practice low-carb eating from now on? Guess not, there are just too many yummii things I could never quit eating.  But still an interesting topic...I've even tried some of the recipes myself, like the celery chips ( see the picture below! ) which after all turned out really good, yumski!

long time, no see...

Hi lovelies! Jaa, ich weiß, schon wieder ist eine Ewigkeit seit meinem letzten Post vergangen, hier tut sich nicht viel....aber nun ist die Klausurenphase fürs erste überstanden und ich habe während meiner Abwesenheit ausserdem einiges angesammelt, was ich euch nun in vielen tollen Posts zeigen kann :) Beste Aussichten für die nächste Zeit also ;) Hier erstmal die Fotos vom vergangenen Wochenende, wir hatten erst ein paar Drinks und sind dann noch über den Dom geschlendert, ganz entspannt also! Ein paar Tage vorher habe ich mir dank eines Gutscheins das tolle pinke Maison Scotch Top gegönnt, welches ihr auf den Bildern seht ( und einige andere Sachen, die Sale-Phase ist eine ganz, gaaanz böse Zeit für mein Portmonnaie, haha )...dazu aber mehr im nächsten Shopping-Post!..und sonst? Ooohh, ja, bald mein großer Tag, ich werde wieder ein Jahr älter....ich bin zwar unglaublich gespannt, was mein Liebster für mich geplant hat ( ich dürfte das Päckchen sogar schon einmal anheben, wie gemein!.. aber ehrlich gesagt, keine Ahnung was es sein könnte!?! ), aber so langsam setzt die Zeit ein, in der ich lieber nicht mehr älter werden möchte. Die große 3 naht, Oh Gott! Horror! Sorry an alle Ü30, hihi. Hoffe ihr habt ein wundervolles Wochenende!

Hi lovelies! Um yea, I know its been quite a while since my last post, not much going on around here these past few days...but exams are over ( at least for now! ) and I've gathered some stuff I wanna show you....so stick around ;) Last weekend we've had some drinks and took a stroll over the Dom afterwards ( you know the Dom? Kinda like a huge fair... ), really relaxed night out! A few days before I had spoiled myself with a the new pink Maison Scotch top you see me wearing above. I also got some more things, but hang on til the next shopping post ;) What else?? In about two weeks, I'll be turning 20 something, the big 3 is coming up close, SCARYY!!! Hey ihr Lieben, genießt ihr das schöne Wetter auch so wie ich? Auch wenn ich nicht mehr an dauerhaft warmes Wetter glaube ( Optimismus, hallo! ), freue ich mich einfach sooo über jeden warmen Tag! Da es jedoch bei der Arbeit immer recht kühl ist, musste eine Zwischenlösung her, schließlich muss jede Gelegenheit genutzt werden, um die Bräune zu erhalten ;) Die Lösung: meine neue Leo-Bluse, die sich inzwischen zu einem meiner Lieblingsstücke entwickelt hat, kombiniert mit einem schlichten, schwarzen Basicrock. Wie gefällt euch das Outfit? Hoffe ihr habt ein schönes Wochenende!!

Hi lovelies, are you enjoying the warm weather just as much as I do? Even though I don't really believe in a warm summer anymore ( hello there, optimism! ) I am still psyched about every single sunny day! But since its always kinda cold at work, I had to find a way of keeping myself "warm" but at the same time getting tanned while I am outside during break. The perfect solution: My new leopard blouse, which is one of my fave pieces at the moment, combined with a simple basic skirt. How do you like the outfit? Hope you have an amazing weekend!

Auch wenn ich inzwischen fleißig an meinem Silberstatus arbeite, möchte ich euch das wundervolle Geschenk natürlich nicht vorenthalten, welches ich vom lieben MyStyleHit-Team beim Erreichen des Bronzestatus bekam. Neben einem sehr netten persönlichen Brief enthielt das Päckchen eine Tastaturbürste, mehrere Gesichtsmasken, Schokolade und eine super schöne Kette aus der 'Susan Caplan für ASOS' - Kollektion. Die Kette ist natürlich mein persönliches Highlight des Geschenks und passt einfach perfekt zu weiß, beige und gold; definitiv die Farbkombinationen, welche im Moment ( gefühlt ) dauerhaft trage. An dieser Stelle vielen, vielen lieben Dank an MSH für die tolle Überraschung :)

Even though I am currently on the hunt for silber status, I still wanna show you the wonderful gift which was given to me by the MyStyleHit team for reaching the bronze status. Besides a kind and very personal letter I received some facial masks, chocolade, a brush for my keyboard and an amazing necklace from the 'Susan Caplan for ASOS' collection. Of course I am most smitten with the necklace, it fits outfits in white, beige and gold perfectly; and those are def the combinations I wear constantly right now. Many thanks to MSH for the awesome surprise, I love it!

Hallo ihr Lieben, hier nur ganz schnell ein paar Bilder vom Wochenende, eigentlich sollte ich den Staubwedel schwingen, für morgen hat sich spontan Besuch angekündigt und meine Klausuren kommen auch immer näher (HILFE!), ich bin also mehr als ausgebucht....ich hoffe ihr hattet ein wundervolles Wochenende, meins war total schön, ich war mit ein paar Freunden auf dem "Grünanlage"-Festival und abends gabs dann noch Cocktails....außerdem hat die liebe Iris ihren Geburtstag gefeiert und so haben wir ein paar nette Stunden im Beachclub verbracht und anschließend sind wir noch auf einen Drink ins Elbwerk gegangen. Super schön wars :)

Although I should be cleaning my apartment right now, not to think of the upcoming exams (IIEEK!!), I wanted to let you know what I was up to last weekend...I went to the "Grünanlage" festival with some friends and after show party was all about cocktails ;) My lovely friend Iris also celebrated her birthday with a little get-together at a beachclub, and some drinks at a bar afterwards. Hope your weekend was as wonderful as mine was? :)

Ihr Lieben, hier mal wieder ein paar Schnappschüsse aus meinem Alltag...aufgrund meiner bald anstehenden Klausuren komme ich im Moment wirklich kaum dazu, Zeit ins Bloggen zu investieren, ich hoffe ihr habt dafür Verständnis ;) Allerdings habe ich bereits einige Dinge, die ich euch zeigen möchte, wie beispielsweise das super schöne Geschenk, welches ich vom MSH-Team für das Erreichen meines Bronze-Status erhalten habe (an dieser Stelle schon einmal vielen lieben Dank!), dazu folgt demnächst auch ein eigener Post...außerdem werdet ihr bald mehr darüber erfahren, wie ich mich fit halte (...oder es zumindest versuche, haha!). summer in the city

Summer is back! YAY! There is nothing better than sunny weather, spending time with the bf, enjoying the sun outdoors, having tons of ice cream, long warm nights out partying with your friends...just exactly the things I did this weekend :) However, with some exams ahead of me, I should finally start to study, so from tomorrow on I will have to return to the serious side of life ;) Hope you had a wonderful weekend, mine def was a bless! Der Sommer ist zurück, ENDLICH! Es gibt doch nichts besseres als warmes Wetter, Zeit mit dem Liebsten zu verbringen, die Sonne draussen geniessen, Eis in Massen zu essen, lange warme Sommernächte, in denen man abends noch ewig lange feiern geht....also genau die Dinge, die ich an diesem Wochenende getan habe! Allerdings gibt es noch einiges für die anstehenden Klausuren zu tun, daher beginnt ab morgen dann wieder der Ernst des Lebens ;) Hoffe ihr hattet ein wundervolles Wochenende, meins war auf alle Fälle großartig!
